Many companies start on the Lean Journey and learn quickly that they need to do more training, but they don’t have the budget. In this workshop we will train you in eight Lean disciplines using a series of tools that in total cost less than $80.00 US.
This is a fun workshop where you will participate and learn how the tools work and how you can use them. From dice and cards and Velcro balls to markers and tape, we will continue to improve.
Each participant will work through each exercise to gain the experience and confidence to bring these tools to their own shop floor. At the end of the workshop each attendee will receive a complete set of instructions to help them guide others through the learning process.
The exercises cover –
Transitioning to flow from a batch environment
Understanding the effects of bottlenecks on flow
Value Stream Mapping
Formulating clear instructions
Team building exercises
We will use one PowerPoint slide as a guide to the agenda for the workshop. The rest will be at the hands of the participants.
This workshop was presented at the AME International Conference in Toronto 2013, the 6 Packed Conference in Austin, Texas 2015, and in Eastern Europe 2014. It will be presented again at the AME International Conference in Dallas in October 2016. This is your chance to attend without traveling.
